What is This?

This document is the Samedi Studios URI Schema. Though much of the web is ephemeral, the web's structure is stable to the extent that portions of it are permanent, or semi-premanent. This document seeks to describe the portions of the samedi-studios.com which are meant to have permanent URIs, and as a result should be "safe" to reference in links. Additionaly, this document describes the pattern of those URIs.

Who is this for?

This document is intended for external authors who are considering linking to some portion of the samedi-studios.com domain. It is also meant for studio members, to guide their usage of URI on the domain.

Dated publications will posses a lowercased ID generated from the last name of the principal author, the year, and a textified form of the title. For example, if this was Profio, 2004, and My Life As An Activist, then the ID might be profio2004activist. These documents will be available not in the publications path, but in subpaths based upon their year of publication. Thus, our example would posses the URI:
